We were visiting the area on holiday and happened upon this restaurant by chance. What a find! Our dinner was one of the best that we have ever had when dining out. The service was prompt and attentive and the food was second to none. We only wish that we had discovered this hidden gem earlier in our break, as we would have returned. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. I would love to have this place in our home town (Cambridge)...but our waistlines might suffer!
Lovely Curry ate in on the Thursday night deal as a group of 20 and service and food was excellent. Ordered a takeout a few days later that was again excellent. Good value menu with huge choice

Fabulous meal. Really well thought out menu. Beautiful looking and great tasting starters, mains and desserts. Good sized portions. lovely quality meat and interesting veggie options as well. Enjoyed the decor and thank you for looking after us so well too
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food simple but good. This is your best bet if you're looking for lunch in Okehampton.

I work as a support worker and every time we'll visit this pub staff and even clients are lovely and caring. I play pool with the service user there and it is amazing. Warm environment.
Came during beef festival. Great selection of beers including local. Great value for money.

Being Malaysian on holiday with British in-laws I was desperate for something Asian. Your Singapore stir fry Beehoon (vermicelli) extra spicy hit the spot! I will be back every holiday. I would recommend your Singapore stir fry highly and that's coming from a fussy Malaysian is high praise.
Had fish and chips, nice fish, chips not quite to my personal liking, but OK. Staff friendly.

Lovely friendly pub. Our meals were amazing, sirloin steak cooked perfect, and the lamb steak was delicious. Very generous portions for great prices. Don't judge a book by it's cover- it looks very much like an ordinary local pub from the outside, but the food really was exceptional, I would highly recommend.

this place never fails to satisfy. the White Hart is now our regular stop for a meal on the way from Cornwall to Bristol. it's literally 2 minutes drive from the A30. they have great selection and the food is prepared to the highest standard, cannot fault it! food service is SUPER FAST. ordered meals for 4 adults/2 kids and they were on the table within 5 minutes. of course they get busier and the wait at the bar can be longish, but honestly that's no different to any other pub. good to see the manager is staying on top of things at all times. highly recommended.
A nice clean pub, friendly staff and good food. On one visit my friends breakfast was missing sausages and I ordered a small fish and chips but wasn’t told at the till point that the standard fish and chips were on offer at the same price which would have been useful to know, all the condiments were pretty much empty too. The toilets are always clean and the atmosphere is pretty good most of the time. Overall a good place to go for food or a drink.
